Tasha Styles is a 24 year old singer with amazing potential and stage presence! Apart from her stunning looks Tasha has an amazing voice!
Tasha started singing as a child but only took to the stage as a solo artiste in 2008, her first gig was support act to the TEMPTATIONS. During the evening she sang with Richard Street (Lead Singer of the Temptations) performing 'That's What Friends are for'. Tasha supported the ever popular 'ASWAD' in June to a packed house at the same venue, Ascot's 'CLUB 1' (Ascots best kept secret)
New Years Eve 2009 was an amazing night for Tasha at Club 1 Ascot when sang a duet with the legendary ALEXANDER O'NEAL. Performing Cherrelle's 'Saturday Love', Tasha performed to perfection and the audience were spellbound !
On February 14th 2010 Tasha will be appearing with 'Heatwave' ('Boogie Nights', Always And Forever' "Ain't No Half Steppin", "Mind Blowing Decisions", "Gangsters Of The Groove") in a Valentine's Day special at Club 1.
Tasha attended Worcester Technology College for Performing Arts studying Dance Acting and singing. ,
She won a Upton-Upon-Severn in Worcestershire, based 'X Factor' type talent contest in 2007 despite strong competition from both solo artistes and bands.
The past few months Tasha has been covering tracks from Christina Aguilera, Leona Lewis, KT Tunstall, Aretha Franklin, Dido, Alanis Morissette and Sheryl Crowe amongst many others and playing the 'local' circuit through Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Berkshire. She is also looking for original material.
During March Tasha played at Chataeu Tiques in Saint Omer France.
April 2009 gave Tasha her first live Radio broadcast on the 'LATE GIG' Swindon 105.5 in a 2 hour interview with 10 tracks played on air, three of which were 'live' performances. Tasha has since been featured on BBC Radio and Swindon's 'Signal Radio'.
In October 2009 Tasha performed at the Kensington Roof Gardens London for the annual 'Take a Heart Ball', which was attended last year by Princess Beatrice York, Peaches Geldoff and Sam Branson where they helped raise £19k for the Charity, this year £25k was raised ! She will be returning for a repeat performance in 2010.
JUNE 2010 TASHA STYLES appeared at Coopers Pewsey Wiltshire at the 'Help for Heroes' Music Festival raising over £1000 for the charity! The following day she flew out to Jamaica to record a single at ARROWS RECORDINGS in Kingston. The single 'Hold Me Tight' is a Johnny Nash track and features SPRAGGA BENZ. Release date is as yet unknown, but we will update you nearer the time !
Tasha is rebooked to appear at Kensington Roof Gardens on October 7th 2010 for the annual 'TAKE HEART BALL'.
